Barry was my first born child, entering this world on June 17, 1966. He was named after Arizona's senator and 1964 presidential candidate Barry Goldwater. I met Barry Goldwater one day and told him my son was named after him, to which he replied, "Oh."
His full name is Barry Andrew Lindstrom. He grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. Moved to Tucson in his 20's. And, now lives in Temecula, California with his wife Debbie.
He is a program manager for Mental Health Systems and currently works in rehabilition for those incarcerated in California Prisons.
The happiest days of my life with Barry were when we spent a week of each fall during the late 70's and early 80's hiking most of the trails in the Grand Canyon and camping out below the rim.
Sad to say, but it is rare for all of us to get together. Thanks to Diane here is a photo of daughter Karen, dad Alvin, son Barry, and me, spring, 2008 in Tucson.
